Trenton, Mich. (AP) - The family of a Detroit-area girl 7 years with Huntington's disease said the dispute with the neighbors rose to the girl photos on one set of crossbones posted on Facebook.
WJBK-TV reported that Trenton girl's mother died of the disease at age 24, and mockery also includes the neighboring post pictures mother at the hands of the grim reaper on social networking sites.
No charges have been filed. Trenton Deputy Police Chief James Nardone told the Detroit News that police were aware of the situation and investigate. He said the dispute had "lasted for some time."
Huntington's disease affects the central nervous system. There is no cure and most patients die about 15 to 20 years after symptoms develop.
